From humble beginnings, Michelle Ly credits her success to patience, determination, and her family’s drive for a better life. The daughter of Vietnamese refugees, Michelle witnessed how her parents worked tirelessly to provide the very best opportunities for their three children. Today, Michelle is a mother, wife, and small business owner with a passion for serving the Round Rock community.
Michelle assisted Erik Hall in founding Hall Roofing and Construction and provides guidance in all areas of the business: field sales, operations, production, HR, customer service, marketing, estimate writing, etc. She was a catastrophe licensed adjuster, Xactimate certified and steep and high certified. She inspects each and every roof from the rooftop. In addition to assisting in the day-to-day operations, she also manages the other businesses that Erik has built including The Rock Sports Bar, Alcove Cantina, and The Flats RR.
As a community leader she supports the local military philanthropies, serves on the YMCA Board of Directors, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center Board of Directors, Round Rock Rotary Board of Directors, co-chair for the UT KD Chapter Advisory Board and is an elected official on the Round Rock City Council. Recently, HRC helped River City Youth Group by replacing the roof, repairing fascia and painting the entire exterior so they can concentrate on their mission. She is a member of Professional Women of Williamson County, National Women in Roofing, 4x investor of the Round Rock Chamber. She was awarded the Round Rock Chamber’s Ascend Emerging Leader award. She was an integral part in receiving the RR Chamber’s Big Boy Hester Award issued to one small business in the community who is committed to being a great partner in the community.
