Nina is a leader, not just an ordinary boss. There are ups and downs in business, but the true success is seen in those who persevere and grow, year after year after year and that is exactly what Nina does. Whether it is freezing cold or sweltering hot, Nina is up on the roof with her team. She trains her employees at all levels, from the most inexperienced roofer on cleanup duty to the experts on the roof. She cares deeply for her employees and goes out of her way to take care of them both in and out of work.
During COVID, Nina ensured her employees and their families were fed and paid while business slowed down. Most importantly, she is trying to break the ceiling for women in a male dominated industry. Nina extends her work ethic far into her community by offering internships to minorities, including women and she speaks at schools to help shape young minds and increase their awareness of the trades. Furthermore, Nina is the owner of our new sister company, EHS Community Affairs, where she donates her own time and money once a month and holds an event for 300 kids to bring the community together near our headquarters. She has become a pillar of her community.
