Brooke Laizure is the owner of Whirlwind Roofing and Construction, LLC, a Native American and woman-owned business that is a Fortified™ Home designated roofing company.
Brooke is also a founding member of National Women in Roofing (NWIR) and she also helped co-found the NWIR Oklahoma Council in 2019 where she currently serves as chair. Through National Women in Roofing, she participates in Build My Future, a one-day construction career day in Tulsa and Oklahoma City for high school students that offers interactive, hands-on exhibits from organizations in the skilled trades. Brooke loves watching kids that have never held a hammer learn how to shingle a roof and sharing the limitless career opportunities for them.
Brooke is a supporter of Women Accessing Non-Traditional Trades (WANTT), a member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce, and served as a board member for the Oklahoma Roofing Contractors Association (ORCA).
Brooke is also passionate about her own education. She is one of only a handful of roofing contractors in Oklahoma with Xactimate Level 3 certification, the complicated software insurance companies use to settle storm damage claims. Using her knowledge, Brooke works with customers to ensure they get everything they need to repair their property.
