The Beacon Canada CertainTeed Spring Shingle Promotion Contest (the "Contest") begins April 15, 2024 at 6:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on July 31, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the "Contest Period"). 2. ELIGIBILITY:  The Contest is open to professional contractor or roofing contractor customers who (i) had a current (i.e., not in arrears) cash or credit account with Beacon between April 15 and July 31, 2023 and that remains open and current throughout the Contest Period; (ii) who purchased CertainTeed residential roofing shingle bundles through Canadian Beacon branches between April 15 and July 31, 2023 with the same account; (iii) are residents of Canada; and (iv) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, as of the date of Entry (as defined below).

Excluded from eligibility are officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Group, and members of any immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives.

3. HOW TO ENTER:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Customer must register at https://go.becn.com/CERTAINTEEDSPRING2024. For each registered customer’s purchase of 500 bundles of CertainTeed residential roofing shingles through Canadian Beacon branches during the Contest Period that are in excess of the number of CertainTeed residential roofing shingle bundles purchased by the same customer’s account between April 15 and July 31, 2023, the customer’s Beacon account will earn one (1) entry in the Contest (“Entry”). Accounts must be current to receive a prize. Orders can be combined.

Mail-In Entries:   To enter the Contest without purchase, hand print your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address on a plain piece of paper and mail it in a stamped envelope to: Beacon Roofing Supply Canada Company (Beacon Canada CertainTeed Spring Shingle Promotion Contest), 13145 Prince Arthur, Montreal, Quebec, H1A 1A9 during the Contest Period. Upon receipt and verification by Sponsor, you will receive one (1) Entry into the Contest. Only original, hand-printed requests for an Entry will be eligible; no photocopies or other reproductions.

4. HOW TO WIN:

On August 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. ET at 13145 Prince Arthur, Montreal, Quebec, H1A 1A9, Sponsor will randomly select three (3) eligible Entries received during the Contest Period as eligible to win a Prize (as defined below).

One (1) Prize will be selected for each Beacon region. See Prize Claim Conditions in Rule 5 and Prize in Rule 6 below for more information. Odds of being selected as eligible to win a Prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries per region received during the Contest Period.

5. PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS: Selected entrants will be notified by email or phone within approximately forty-eight (48) hours of the draw.

In order to be declared a winner, selected entrants must: (i) respond to notification of selection within three (3) business days of first attempt by Sponsor; (ii) without assistance of any kind, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone or email at a mutually convenient time; (iii) sign a written declaration and release form, releasing the Contest Group and each of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest or the use or misuse or possession of any prize, or the merchandise for which it is redeemed (the “Release”); and (iv) otherwise comply with these Official Contest Rules.

Return of any Prize or winner notification as undeliverable, inability to reach selected entrant or failure of selected entrant to respond to notification within three (3) business days of first attempt by Sponsor or Sponsor’s agent, failure to provide proof of eligibility (if requested), Release documents, or other required documentation in a timely manner, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these Official Contest Rules may result in disqualification, forfeiture of the Prize and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, selection of an alternate eligible entrant for the forfeited Prize in accordance with these Official Contest Rules, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.

6. PRIZES: There are a total of three (3) prizes to be won (each a “Prize”), consisting of a $3,000 Smoker BBQ chosen by the Sponsor (the “Prize”). There is one (1) Prize available to be won for each Beacon region:

If any provision of the Official Contest Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the Official Contest Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
