Lori Lee served as a weapons technician while serving in the United States Air Force (USAF) in various locations including Bitburg, Germany and Keflavik, Iceland. After leaving the USAF, Lori Lee was in a serious car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), in addition to a fractured clavicle, fractured pelvic bone, and fractured ribs. The residual effects of the TBI remain forever and she continues to live with them, as well as other health issues.
After the accident, Lori Lee received her Bachelor's degree from Columbia College and her Master’s degree in Speech & Language from Western Kentucky University and she currently works as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Springfield, MA School District. She belongs to the local Disabled American Veterans charity and donates her time to partake in their activities, in addition to helping raise money for this organization.
