“2024 Beacon Spring Cleanup Promotion and Raffle” presented by Beacon Roofing Supply OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
There are two parts to the “Beacon Spring Cleanup Promotion and Raffle” (the “Promotion”) presented by Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (“Beacon”). For purposes of these rules, and subject to the other eligibility requirements below, a “New Pro+ User” means a professional contractor and roofing contractor who registers a new account through the Beacon Pro+ website and/or Beacon Pro+ application during the Promotion Period (as hereinafter defined), provided that such contractor did not previously have such an account at any time prior to the Promotion Period, and an “Existing Pro+ User” means a professional contractor and roofing contractor who, as of the commencement of the Promotion Period, already registered and maintained an active account through the Beacon Pro+ website and/or Beacon Pro+ application, or who returns such an account from inactive to active status during the Promotion Period.
The first part of the Promotion relates to earned awards as follows: New Pro+ or New to Digital Users will receive a $1,000 MasterCard e-card on all qualifying purchases of CertainTeed residential roofing shingles during the Promotion Period which total 100 square or more, with such rebate to be awarded to New Pro+ Users in the form of an electronic MasterCard. *NEW DIGITAL CUSTOMERS is defined as a customer that placed NO orders digitally prior to April 14, 2024 (PRO+, IOA, Integration Partner) Promotion valid on qualifying purchases through Beacon Pro+ website or application and any integration partner placed during the Promotion Period and shipped prior to June 16, 2024. Limit one (1) gift card per account, to be awarded 3-4 weeks following close of Promotion. Participants must have a Beacon Pro+ account to participate, and accounts must be current to receive earned awards. Awards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Void wherever restricted or prohibited by law.
The second part relates to a drawing for three (3) grand prizes. The rules relating to this second part are set forth in more detail below.
DATES OF PROMOTION: The Promotion begins at open of business on April 15, 2024, and ends at close of business on June 15, 2024 (the “Promotion Period”). There will be one (1) drawing held for the three (3) grand prizes on or about June 22, 2024, following the end of the Promotion Period.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to professional contractor and roofing contractor customers who: (a) have a free cash or credit account (the “Account”) with Beacon Roofing Supply, (b) are a legal US resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia; (c) are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry; and (d) are existing Pro+ Users (the “Entrant”). The Account of any Entrant who is selected as a prize winner must be in “good standing” meaning, the Account is not in collection status or delinquent. Any Entrant who is determined as a prize winner (each, a “Prize Winner”) must have a unique, personal and valid social security number for Sponsor to report the tax liability associated with acceptance of the prize. Valid social security numbers will be determined by Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) requirements as further defined in the “Prize Claims” section of these official rules. Officers, directors, managers and employees (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Beacon Roofing Supply (the “Sponsor”), and its parents subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies, licensees, distributors, retailers, national accounts, enterprise accounts, dealers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, consultants and agents, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Promotion are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Promotion is void outside of the United States and wherever restricted or prohibited by law. Persons who have previously won a contest, sweepstakes or promotion of any kind sponsored by or otherwise associated with Sponsor within the thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding the start of this Promotion are ineligible to participate or win a prize. By participating in this Promotion, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter:
1. WITH A PURCHASE: Entrants who make a “Qualifying Purchase” using their Account during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered. For purposes of this promotion, Qualifying Purchase shall be defined as the purchase of 100 square of CertainTeed residential roofing shingles through the Beacon Pro+ website or application or any integration partner during the Promotion Period. Entrants will receive one (1) entry for every 100 square worth of products purchased. Orders may be combined. Any attempt to make Qualifying Purchases and return products for the purposes of obtaining entries into the Promotion will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Promotion. Entries are subject to order number and Account validation and verification.
2. WITHOUT A PURCHASE BY MAIL: To enter without making a Qualifying Purchase, Entrants may enter by mail or online as follows: To enter by mail, on a plain 3” x 5” card, legibly handprint or type your Account number, first name, last name, business name, complete business address, city, state, zip code, business telephone number (including area code), date of birth and email address (if available) to: “Beacon Roofing Supply – Beacon Spring Cleanup Promotion and Raffle”, 505 Huntmar Park Drive, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171. Mail entries must be postmarked by June 15, 2024, and received by June 22, 2024 to be eligible for the Promotion. Each envelope shall be considered one (1) entry into the drawing. Entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for Entrants. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, damaged or postage due mailed entries.
Regardless of the method in which you choose to enter, either via Qualifying Purchase or by mail without a purchase, there is no limit on the number of entries per Entrant during the Promotion Period. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the Entrant submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the Account is registered. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the Account submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the Account by Beacon Roofing Supply. Potential Prize Winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder or the Account. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, telephone numbers, identities, and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Promotion.
WINNING/ODDS/NOTIFICATION: A random drawing will be conducted for the grand prizes on or about June 22, 2024. A total of three (3) Grand Prize Winners will be selected from among the eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, with one (1) Prize Winner being selected from each of Beacon’s geographic operating divisions (North, South and West Divisions), with the branches operating under the trade name Dealer’s Choice to be considered part of the South Division for purposes of the Promotion, regardless of where the branch from which the material is shipped is located. For purposes of determining a Potential Prize Winner’s geographic operating division, the location of the account owner shall be dispositive. The random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are based on its sole discretion and interpretation of these official rules, and are final and binding in all respects. Odds of being selected as a Prize Winner will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period within each of Beacon’s geographic divisions. Upon verification, a potential Prize Winner will be notified by the Sponsor by telephone (the “Notification”) between the dates of June 22, 2024 and June 25, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and 5:00 p.m. ET for the prizes. Sponsor will make three (3) attempts to reach a potential Prize Winner by telephone. Potential prize winning Notifications will not be left on voicemail. In the event the Sponsor cannot reach a potential Prize Winner via the Notification after three (3) attempts, or if it is determined by Sponsor, in their sole discretion, that a potential Prize Winner is not eligible in accordance with these official rules, an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Promotion Period and will be notified as outlined above until the grand prize winner is confirmed.
PRIZES: Grand Prize: A total of three (3) grand prizes will be awarded in connection with the Promotion (the “Prizes”): each Grand Prize is a $25,000 backyard makeover. The Approximate Retail Value (the “ARV”) of each of the Grand Prizes is $25,000. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash alternative is available. Winners will be responsible for all gratuities and other incidental costs or expenses not identified as being included in these rules. Each Prize Winner is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. The Prize may be taxable as income and all taxes associated with the Prize (including but not limited to income taxes) are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner will be solely responsible for any expenses not listed herein related to the receipt, possession, acceptance and use of the Prize. The depiction of the Prize in any advertising or promotional materials may not reflect the actual prize delivered to the Prize Winner. The awarding of the Prize is subject to its availability and Sponsor shall not be responsible for delays in awarding the Prize. Sponsor, however, shall use all reasonable efforts, subject to availability, to award the Prize prior to June 25, 2024, provided however, that the Prize Winner has submitted all Required Documents (as further defined in the “Prize Claims” section below) and all other requested paperwork. No prize substitution or cash redemption, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is not transferable prior to award. Any difference in the stated ARV and the actual value of the Prize at the time it is awarded will not be awarded. Names of prize manufacturers/trademark owners are used solely for the purpose of identification of the prizes. No endorsement, authorization, sponsorship, or approval by any other prize manufacturer or service provider is intended or implied by such use. No more than the prizes set forth in these official rules will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded.
PRIZE CLAIMS: The prize winner must personally retrieve the prize upon notification from Sponsor/Independent Administrator and must present adequate personal identification and evidence of legally required insurance, unless otherwise stated herein. All prizes must be claimed in person on or before June 27, 2024 at Beacon Roofing Supply located closest to the Prize Winner’s business address, as determined by the Sponsor in their sole discretion, unless otherwise stated herein. Except where prohibited, each potential Prize Winner must sign and return to the Sponsor, an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/publicity release (the “Release”). Each Prize Winner consents (and agrees to sign any additional documents required by Sponsor to formalize, effect or perfect such consent) to Sponsors use of his/her name, likeness (photograph and/or video), biographical information, and voices in advertising/publicity/trade (including local and/or national television stations, or print publications that may be covering any element of this Promotion), without compensation, notice or approval; and each Prize Winner disclaims any ownership rights in the content of such advertising/publicity/trade material (TN Residents will not be required to sign a publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize, if applicable). The Prizes are taxable as income and the Prize Winner is solely responsible for any taxes on the respective Prize, including, but not limited to all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Should any portion of the Promotion be, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, compromised (as applicable) by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and conduct the Promotion in a manner which in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these official rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be made available. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion and limit entries to those submitted prior to the action taken, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these official rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate or false entry. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR'S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
RELEASE: By participating in this Promotion, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and their respective officers, directors, managers, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, members, shareholders, insurers, servants, divisions, predecessors, successors, representatives, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, including any consultants and/or legal advisors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt, redemption or use of a prize.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable, network, hardware or software (if applicable); (b) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (c) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (d) any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant's participation in the Promotion; (e) any printing or typographical, distribution or production errors in any Promotion-related materials; or (f) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or indecipherable entries.
